መስቀል ፍቺ:- በአብዛኞቹ የሕዝበ ክርስትና ተከታዮች ዘንድ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የተሰቀለበት መሣሪያ መስቀል ተብሎ ይጠራል። “ክሮስ” የሚለው የእንግሊዝኛ ቃል የተወሰደው ክሩክስ ከሚለው የላቲን ቃል ነው። ሆኖም የመስቀል አምልኮ ከክርስቶስ ዘመን በፊትም ጀምሮ የነበረ ለመሆኑ በርካታ የጽሑፍና የሥነቁፋሮ ማስረጃዎች አሉ።

Definition of Cross:- The instrument on which Jesus Christ was crucified is called a cross by most followers of Christendom. The English word “cross” is derived from the Latin word crux. However, there are many written and archeological evidences that the worship of the cross existed before the time of Christ.
